To those who are unfamiliar with Tim Burton's work, I recommend you to watch "Corpse Bride." It is a movie made in stop-motion format that well represents the style of Tim Burton.
His movies are too numerous to write them all, but here are some major movies.
- Batman (1989)
- Edward Scissorhands (1990)
- The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
- Corpse Bride (2005)
- Sweeny Todd (2007)
- Alice in Wonderland (2010)
- Frankenweenie (2012)
The
exhibition contains about 860 various works from the three stages of Tim
Burton's life. You can see his early drawings and sculptures, not to mention
sketches and figures for his many movies.
This exhibition is sponsored by
Hyundai Card, the Museum of Modern Arts(New York), and the Seoul Museum of Arts.
It has been on a world tour, and many people watched the exhibition. Seoul is
the last city of the world tour. It is also the first Asian city. Moreover, it includes the most recent
works by Tim Burton's Studio, making it the largest Tim Burton exhibition
